    Anita is a member of CLIRSPEC council and has attended all but two SPEC conferences since its inception. She is well aware of the traditions of this conference and will coordinate this event with an eye to the future.

     Matt Baker has been conference chair of SPEC and has offered to work with the team for SPEC 2026, bringing his entrepreneurial insights into the meeting. He is in the process of setting up his US office in Nashville, TN.

  • Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering & Chemistry, Vanderbilt University

    Andrea is a emerging junior faculty in the field of Raman spectroscopy and SERS. While she has not attended SPEC before, she is only now beginning her career and has already been active at SciX. She is part of the future of SPEC, and this conference will establish her presence in the community

  • Professor, Orthopedic Surgery, Director, Vanderbilt Center for Bone Biology, Vanderbilt University Medical Center

    Jeff’s research is in the area of Bone mechanics and biology and is active in the area of Raman spectroscopy for bone applications. He has been active in orthopedics conferences, and this will be his first foray into the CLIRSPEC community
